I love you mamy

So, Grace was extremely sweet and loving yesterday. She couldn't stop showering me with hugs and long kisses. Telling me all afternoon how much she loved me. Kensley was about to gag on all the sweet nothings she was giving out. After I took a bath yesterday the mirror was foggy and she decided to write I love you...and then she said let me make it more special so she added mamy. We need to work on her spelling but it sure did melt my heart. Love this little girl. This will not last much longer. Want to capture it before it's gone.

The Tooth Fairy Is Broke

Grace pulled out her top loose tooth two nights ago. She had picture day yesterday and the other top tooth was so crooked. She looked like Nanny McPhee, except much cutier. So, she had her pictures taken and then came home from school and started messing with the other top tooth. I went to the dog park with Belle and she calls me (it's kinda crazy to me that a 6 year old picks up a phone and calls you) and says don't get too excited but my other tooth fell out. I said, I wish I could of been there! At bed time, Grace couldn't find the tooth so Derek improvised and put a stuffed animal under there. He made up some story about how one of his friends lost his tooth and that's what his mama did. The tooth fairy made it to his house. Glad Grace woke up in the middle of the night calling my name for whatever reason because the "tooth fairies" forgot to put the money under her pillow. I found some change in a jar and snuck it under her pillow and took the stuffed animal out. When she woke up she was so happy. She exchanged her coins in for dollar bills and then decided to change it back because the coins were more special because they were from the fairy. Cute. My last little baby. My last front teeth to loose. Oh how I love being a mama!

Highlights With Cindy

We enjoyed our short 4 months with Cindy while she was back in the states on home assignment. We went to Nashville and had a great time with Derek's family. Cindy had a chance to spend some time in Ocala as well. We took her to Ms. Bonnie's treehouse, a place we spend many afternoons. Ms. Bonnie supplies all kinds of treats for all the neighborhood kids. We are so proud of Cindy. She will be leaving April 11th to head back to South Africa. We love you and will be praying for you!

3rd Annual Doxa Kickball!

We always have a blast playing kickball with our Doxa friends. Kristy and Maria and the other blind mouse (Kristy's friend) were a hoot. Ernesto and Tiffany out did themselves once again... gnomes! Tiffany is so creative, she made those costumes. I love that all of my kids are now old enough to get out there and play. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.
